The Serpent Rising: new original drawings
Saira has made a new series of original drawings called The Serpent Rising, and six of them are now available to buy.
Each one is drawn in black biro on A5 recycled paper and signed by Saira. Across the series you’ll find serpents coiled around faces, watching eyes, and fine geometric frames, all built up from layers of delicate linework. The natural texture of the paper shows through, which gives each drawing a quiet, tactile feel.
Saira describes the series like this:
This is a series of drawings, based on the kundalini energy. Believed to take the form of a coiled, dormant serpent at the base of the spine, each drawing is encoded with activations. They can be used to meditate upon, in assisting with physical and emotional healing. Restoring mental clarity and provoking a shift in consciousness.
The drawings are £350 each plus postage. You can see all six, with close-ups of the detail, on the Buy page.
To ask about a drawing or to buy one, contact Saira and let her know which number you’re interested in (I to VI).
